UES Headquarters and Corporate Laboratories – Dayton, OH

The UES facility has approximately 40,000 square feet including offices, conference rooms and laboratory space. The conference rooms at UES are available for use by customers. The rooms can accommodate up to 100 people and provide web conferencing and teleconferencing. The meeting spaces also offer flexible seating arrangements, LCD displays, smartboards and projectors.

We distinguish ourselves from other contracting/service companies by continuously investing in our in-house laboratories where we develop and transition our scientific innovations into commercial products and services. UES has significant commercial revenue in addition to that from our R&D services business.   • UES’ IBISTM Photoconductive Semiconductor Switch won an R&D 100 Award in 2015
  • UES has won about 200 SBIR/STTR awards and received the Tibbett’s Award in 2002.
  • UES has an impressive DoD Commercialization Achievement Index (CAI) of 100%.
  • UES revenue from SBIR-developed technologies (e.g. such as ProCAST, an industry standard for casting simulations, and Paravant, a Ruggedized portable computer hardware technology for use on the battlefield and in outdoor conditions) has exceeded $175M.
