UES's Accounting and Human Resources departments support three additional companies.  Our Accounting department processes over $65M per year and our Human Resources department services over 1,000 people. This places UES in a very unique position. Since 1973, UES has proven that it is a responsive, flexible, and cost-effective contractor that provides excellent scientific, technical, and research support. On over 500 U.S. government contracts, ranging in size from $100 thousand to large, multi-task contracts of $49 million, we consistently have met all milestones and cost constraints while providing innovative ideas and solutions that ensure the success of our customers. Defense Contract Audit Agency Approved Financial Management System

UES, as a government contractor, has developed a cost accounting system that complies with Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) regulations and Cost Accounting Standards Board (CASB). Using this system, we produce a series of tools that can be used to track project expenditures. Our accounting system is custom tailored to specific contract needs and tracks all direct labor, materials and supplies, subcontracting (when applicable), travel and other direct costs.
