The boys and I are 3rd degree black belts in Taekwondo. I also enjoy running and have been beekeeping for the last two years.
What are your career goals?
My career goal is to leverage my significant scientific and operational background as a retired officer to gain personal and professional fulfillment from my contributions to important and vital research programs in defense of the nation.
What achievements are you most proud of?
I am most proud of my family, my military service, earning my PhD, and advancing in Taekwondo with my sons.
What is the best advice you've ever heard?
The best advice I heard was not necessarily advice but how I internalized a statement. As a young officer one of my senior NCO's said he would die for me. That sentiment has stayed with me my entire career and served as a foundation for my leadership and work ethic. I have always tried live my life as an officer, leader, and person which was worthy of such a sentiment.
