Research Support

Integrative Health & Performance Sciences Division

Currently, I support AFRL with the 711 Human Performance Wing (711 HPW/RHXBC), acting as the Chemical Hygiene Officer, HazMat, and Hazardous Waste Manager. I have an Associate’s Degree in Biotechnology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, and I am currently in pursuit of a Master’s Degree in Public Health. When I am not working, I enjoy reading, shopping, and spending time with my family that includes my husband and four children.

What are your career goals?

I would like to obtain a career in Public Health that focuses primarily on Women’s Health, more importantly maternal health. The United States is struggling with providing quality maternal healthcare and currently lags behind other developed nations when it comes to preventing pregnancy-related deaths, and I'm passionate about changing that.

What achievements are you most proud of?

I'm most proud of obtaining my degree with honors while working full-time and parenting four children.

What is the best advice you've ever heard?

Focus on the goal, not the obstacles.
