The Dayton area is filled with countless opportunities to invest in community causes and powerful programs, and UES is proud to play an active role in giving back to the community and investing in the future. We’re proud to not only sponsor community programs monetarily, but to also engage and empower our team members to play an active role in giving back.
If you’re an employee looking for an area to give back to the community or invest in the future, check out some of the efforts UES focuses on to see how you can join us in making a difference and watch for emails and follow us on social media to hear about upcoming opportunities.
Not all our opportunities are limited to UES Employees! Follow us on social media to hear about ways you can join our efforts, like donating to the holiday cause of the year or to our Relay for Life team. If you have a worthy cause you’d like us to consider supporting, please reach out to us here.
As a defense contracting firm that works closely with people at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, military and veteran causes are close to us. From sponsoring Wright-Patterson AFB USO Center and the Dayton VA Medical Center’s new Fisher House, to collecting and delivering employee donations for the WPAFB USO’s Airman’s Attic, we’re happy to make a difference in the lives of military personnel, veterans, and their families.
We know that to solve tomorrow’s scientific challenges, we need to invest in STEM education today. That’s why we’re passionate about not only sponsoring STEM initiatives at the graduate, undergraduate, high school, middle school, and elementary levels, but also about empowering our scientists to mentor these students as they pursue materials science, robotics, synthetic biology, and more.
We’re deeply rooted in the Dayton area and proud of our long history of corporate citizenship. Between funding local facilities and programs like local rest areas and Beavercreek’s 4th of July UES Fireworks Show or the Air Force Marathon, and encouraging employee efforts in Relay for Life of Kettering, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Dayton, local food pantry drives, and more, we’re proud of how UES works as a team to make a difference through corporate and individual donations, as well as volunteer work.
